Literature Text

You seethe to know the end,
But breathe and try to comprehend,
That the ripples you create
Reach heights so great
And never really end.
If you knew all the answers it would ruin you, My friend.

So go and throw the stones you throw
And plant the seeds you wish to sow.
But I just wanted you to know
That consequences grow and grow
Like waves from caves the sea-wind blows.

So when you yearn for me,
Discern from taking life so seriously,
When I am altruistically
Observing you,
Indifferently.
To learn from your mistakes
I must forsake you
Just occasionally.

After life, you'll rise
And find I did it all to make you wise.
It isn't that I couldn't
but I shouldn't
Answer all your cries.
From your despair you learned to care,
Your soul repaired,
From your demise.
